WINDERMERE More than 1,000 runners took to the roads and trails surrounding Windermere’s notorious, scenic lakes during the 16th annual Run Among the Lakes Saturday, April 1. For the first time this year the event included not only a 5k race but also a 10k race, along with the usual kids’ race. The Run Among the Lakes benefits the town of Windermere’s Parks and Recreation Department.
