Obituary: Frances L. Claflin

Frances L. Claflin, born on Feb. 3, 1922, passed away Sept. 26, 2018 at Health Central Park in Winter Garden, Florida. 

She was predeceased in 2010 by George, her husband of 67 years; and her son, Mark, in 1998. 

She is survived by her son, John (and LeeAnn), of Winter Garden; her grandson, Brett (and Katie); and two great-grandchildren, Reese and Dillard, of Windermere.

She met George while she was working at the Pentagon during World War II. She had a passion for

cooking and was most happy feeding her family and friends.

She attended First United Methodist Church of Winter Garden prior to her stay at Health Central Park for the last seven years. She was loved by many, including her family, friends and the staff at Health Central Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the First United Methodist Church Ladies Room Fund.
