Dr. Phillips High to host Preseason Kickoff Classic

Originally slated to be played at Edgewater, the Panthers will now participate in its yearly preseason game at home.

There's good news for fans of Dr. Phillips who are looking to get their football fix.

Originally scheduled to be played at Edgewater High School, the Panthers' Preseason Kickoff Classic game against the Eagles will now take place at Bill Spoone Stadium on Dr. Phillips' campus this Friday, Aug. 16, at 7 p.m.

The preseason game will be a warmup for the Panthers before the start of the regular season, which officially kicks off against Seminole on the road next Friday, Aug. 23, at 7 p.m.
