Ocoee police seeking information on traffic homicide

The investigation continues regarding the Sept. 13 single-vehicle crash.

The Ocoee Police Department is investigating a single-vehicle traffic crash that took place at 3:40 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, at the intersection of Clarke Road and West Colonial Drive.

Officers arrived on the scene to discover a single vehicle, fully engulfed, which appeared to have crashed into a pole at the intersection, according to police. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

No other injuries were reported, according to police, and no other information is being released at this time.

The Ocoee Police Traffic Homicide Unit is in charge of the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ocoee Police Department at (407) 905-3160.
