Qualifying continues for Windermere council

The period to qualify for the Windermere Town Council ends Friday.

Three seats on the Windermere Town Council will be on the ballot for the Tuesday, March 9, municipal election. Those seats currently are held by council members Liz Andert, Bill Martini and Bob McKinley.

The qualifying period for candidates to submit their forms and 25 verified petitions began Dec. 9 and ends at noon Friday, Jan. 8. Paperwork must be submitted to the Town Clerk’s office, 501 W. Forest St. For information, call (407) 876-2563, Ext. 5323, or email [email protected].
