The Oakland Nature Preserve was all aglow with jack-o’-lanterns lining part of its boardwalk and northern trail Friday, Oct. 29. Many families attended the ONP Pumpkin Glow outdoor event, and folks were invited to participate in costume.
Pumpkins lining the route were decorated with carvings of superheroes, cartoon characters, insects, animals and more, and one section of jack-o’-lanterns was decorated by children in the community.
The Pumpkin Glow continues from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight, Saturday, Oct. 30. The preserve is at 747 Machete Trail, Oakland.
