Woman dies along Ocoee Apopka Road after crashing into a tree

The crash took place at around 5 a.m. on Friday, April 29

Around 5 a.m. on Friday, April 29, a 37-year-old woman was killed after crashing into a tree on Ocoee Apopka Road. 

Troopers reported to the scene not long after the incident took place. The Florida Highway Patrol reported road blockage by 6 a.m.

Witnesses of the crash told troopers that the woman was driving northbound on Ocoee Apopka Road when she drifted off the road and hit a tree and a fence. She died at the scene. 

The investigation of the crash is still ongoing in West Orange County.
