The town of Oakland closed its downtown streets to traffic and welcomed a huge crowd of guests to its annual Santa’s Lane event Saturday, Dec. 3. Santa Claus was the main attraction, and children of all ages waited their turn to share their wish list with jolly St. Nick.
The afternoon event included photo opportunities around the town center and events such as an alpine slide and snow flurries, as well as holiday music and a chance to vote on the best-decorated tree at the Health West Orange Arts & Heritage Center.
