Peter Abatiello memorial service set for Friday

The program will begin at 9 a.m. at the West Orange High School football stadium.

A memorial service for former West Orange High School coach and teacher Peter Abatiello will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, July 22, at the WOHS football stadium, 1625 Beulah Road, Winter Garden. Those affiliated with Abatiello through WOHS, Florida State University, Plantation High School or sports are asked to wear the appropriate school colors or sports attire.

Following the memorial, there will be a time of fellowship and remembrance in the school cafeteria.

The Memorial Committee is asking guests to consider donating school supplies for Tildenville and Dillard Street elementaries; golf balls, tees and clubs for an underprivileged youth league; or new soccer cleats for a needy youth league.
