Orange County plans Family Fun Run on West Orange Trail

Hosted by the Orange County Parks and Recreation Department, the run will take place from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the West Orange Trail.

Orange County residents will have the chance to enjoy a fun Saturday morning at the Family Fun Run that will take place from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Chapin Station of the West Orange Trail, 501 Crown Point Cross Road, Winder Garden.

If you are not a runner, you can either board, bike, roller blade, walk or stroll along the paved trail at your own pace. People can decide to do either the 1K, the 5K or the 10K.

Families in attendance also will be able to enjoy some yard games such as corn hole, Connect 4, Jenga, a bounce house, and listen to some music while munching on refreshments.

Even though pre-registration is not required, it is encouraged. To register, click on the following link.
