The town of Windermere returned with its biggest event of the season “Light Up Windermere” on Friday, Nov. 18.
The November food truck night attracted thousands to the area to taste sweet and savory delights from local eateries including Alaskan Ice, Bao Houz, The Crepe Company, Monsta Lobsta and Sugar Rush Marshmallows.
Residents enjoyed special performances from White Swan Academy and Family Church, and were entertained by Bubble Bus Orlando and Event Concepts Entertainment Deejay Russ.
Additionally, the Windermere Police Department Foundation handed out glow sticks and special 3D glasses. At exactly 7 p.m. Windermere Mayor Jim O’Brien led the countdown to lighting over 200,000 lights across Town Square Park, officially kicking off the holiday season.
