Shepherd's Hope to close health centers due to Hurricane Ian

Health centers will be closed from Wednesday, Sept. 28 to Thursday, Sept. 29 based on the current projected forecast for Hurricane Ian.

As Florida braces for the incoming Hurricane Ian, Shepherd's Hope has announced that all on-site services will be closed during Wednesday, Sept. 28 and Thursday, Sept. 29. 

These services include: 

  • All health centers.
  • Healthy Lifestyle (HEAL) — usually scheduled for Wednesdays and Thursdays. 
  • Offices — team members will be working virtually.

According to a press release, the health centers will resume normal operation hours Monday, Oct. 3, "unless there are post-hurricane access or utility service issues."
