West Orange, Windermere offer priming service for parking spaces

West Orange and Windermere high schools are offering a priming service for seniors who will be painting their parking spaces and want to start with a blank canvas come painting day. Two groups will paint over last year’s design so students can start working on their own images as soon as they arrive early on painting day.

West Orange’s painting day is Saturday, Aug. 5. A base coat will be painted over the parking space at a cost of $35. Payment can be made at SchoolPay. A table also will be set up Saturday to collect any leftover paint supplies to be donated to the theater department.

Windermere students will paint their parking spots Saturday, Aug. 12. The Fightin’ Wolverine Marching Band is offering a priming service for $50. Payment can be made via SchoolPay; deadline is Monday, Aug. 7. Proceeds go to offset the cost of the school’s numerous band initiatives. For information, email [email protected].
