Recognizing the severe nature of what is now Tropical Storm Idalia, Rosen Hotels & Resorts activated its Florida resident distress rates this morning, giving evacuees a safe, affordable place to call home as they ride out the storm.

“We do this because it is the right thing to do,” said Harris Rosen, founder and COO of Rosen Hotels & Resorts. “The safety of our guests, our associates and families across Florida is something we will go to great lengths to protect.”

“This is an unexpected expense, not a staycation,” said Jennifer Rice-Palmer, director of guest contact. “People should be able to leave their homes and know they can depend on Rosen Hotels & Resorts to do its part to keep them and their pets as safe as possible.”

Distress rates, not including taxes, are $69 per night for Rosen Inn International, Rosen Inn closest to Universal, Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando and Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista; $99 per night for Rosen Plaza; $109 per night for Rosen Centre; and $129 per night for Rosen Shingle Creek.

Rosen Hotels & Resorts is pet-friendly; there is no additional pet fee during distress rates. To reserve a room, call (866) 337-6736.
