Motorcyclist killed in overnight accident near Apopka-Vineland Road

A 32-year-old female died after she lost control of a motorcycle while traveling eastbound on Palm Parkway near Apopka-Vineland Road.

A 32-year-old female died after she lost control of a motorcycle while traveling eastbound on Palm Parkway near Apopka-Vineland Road. 

According to Florida Highway Patrol reports, at about 3:24 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, the victim was driving a 2023 Kawasaki motorcycle when she lost control for unknown reasons. The motorcycle landed on its left side, rotated counterclockwise and traveled in an easterly direction and struck a curb.

The victim was transported to a nearby emergency room, where she was pronounced dead.

The report does not indicate another person or vehicle was involved in this accident and notes the rider was wearing a helmet. 

This crash remains under investigation.
