Winter Garden resident presents plaque to team who saved his life

Reedy Creek firefighter Steve Hollingsworth presented a plaque to the emergency department team at AdventHealth Celebration for saving his life.

The emergency department team at AdventHealth Celebration has been presented with a plaque by Reedy Creek firefighter Steve Hollingsworth for saving his life.

Winter Garden resident Hollingsworth surprised the team with the help of Paulette Montero, also from the Reedy Creek Professional Firefighters Benevolent Association, Friday, June 30.

Hollingsworth’s life changed forever April 16, when he suffered an unexpected heart attack.

He now is using his story to encourage others to be their own advocates for their health.
