Foundation Academy student performs national anthem at Tampa Bay Rays game

A Foundation Academy senior earned recently the opportunity to sing The Star-Spangled Banner at a baseball game in Tampa.

Senior Melia Lee sang the national anthem at the Tampa Bay Rays baseball game Wednesday, June 21.

Dave Buckles, FA president, took to social media to comment on Lee's accomplishment.

"The Lord has blessed her with an amazing voice," Buckles wrote. "We are blessed to have her as a student."
