Town of Oakland to undergo full road closure

Oakland Avenue, between the intersection of JW Jones Road and Countyline Court will close from 7 p.m. Friday June 2 to 7 a.m. Monday, June 5.

The Town of Oakland will experience a full road closure through the weekend to help facilitate the connection of the new roundabout to Oakland Avenue.

The road closure will take place between the intersection of JW Jones Road and Countyline Court will close from 7 p.m. Friday June 2 to 7 a.m. Monday, June 5.

Detour signage is already in place to notify potential vehicles who may need to abide by it.

Some flagging of traffic may be needed on Monday to complete the road work.
