How to register for the Winter Garden Police Athletic League Holiday Gifts for Kids program

The annual Holiday Gifts for Kids program provides presents to Winter Garden youth in need.

Registration for the Winter Garden Police Athletic League annual Holiday Gifts for Kids program is open until Dec. 1. The program aims to provide presents to newborn to 12-year-old children in need from the Winter Garden community.

To register, you can pick up and return your application at any one of the following locations or simply hand it to a Winter Garden Police officer on patrol.


Registration Locations:

  • Winter Garden Police Department, 251 W. Plant St.
  • Winter Garden City Hall, 300 W. Plant St.
  • Maxey Center, 830 Klondike St.
  • Mildred Dixon Activity Center, 303 S.W. Crown Pointe Road
  • Jessie Brock Community Center, 310 N. Dillard St.

To register, all of the following documents are required:

  • Birth certificate or court/custody paperwork (only parent or legal guardian can register a child) that shows the child is 12 years old or under.
  • Current water or utility bill for the Winter Garden address they reside
  • Proof of government assistance (WIC, food stamps, etc.)
  • Identification (driver's license, ID card, passport, etc.)

Please note that registration is not complete until you have been contacted by the Community Liaison Unit and given an HGFK ticket with a scheduled pick-up date and time.
