The Ocoee Police Department returned with its annual National Night Out event Tuesday, Oct. 3, at Bill Breeze Park.
National Night Out is a community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make local neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
The event was held in partnership with the city of Ocoee and the parks and recreation department.
The evening’s festivities included a deejay with live music, face painting, a gaming truck, shows from We Flip Entertainment, a mechanical bull, a bounce house and ax throwing.
In addition, attendees could choose from several food trucks to enjoy tasty treats from, including Jour De Crepe Truck, Lobster Truck and Pelican’s SnoBalls.
Vendors at the event included West Oaks Library, Ocoee Pediatrics, Orange County Crimeline and Orland Emergency Response.
