The Daisies, Brownies and Girl Scouts of the Dr/Win unit hosted a community fall festival on the lawn of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church Friday, Oct. 27. The festivities included inflatables and plenty of games and activities. Girls of all ages made bead bracelets, tie-dyed hair scrunchies, snacked on s’mores and cotton candy, had the chance to earn badges during the evening, and enjoyed dinner from the many food trucks.
This was the unit’s first fall festival, and all money went to the Gifts for Girls, which offers grants within Citrus Council so all girls have the opportunity to become a scout.
