Big Lou's Single Wing Express now open in Hamlin

The restaurant is owned by Lou Ross, also known as Big Lou, who played for the NFL's Buffalo Bills.

Big Lou's Single Wing Express has opened its brick-and-mortar location in Hamlin in a shared space with Chick'nCone, which opened in May 2023.

The restaurant is owned by Lou Ross, also known as Big Lou, who played for the Buffalo Bills. 

After playing three seasons in the NFL, Ross then started his culinary career with help from the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, New York.

Ross has served the local Winter Garden community through his food truck for about 20 years, and the end of April marked the start of his newest culinary journey.

The eatery serve wings with flavors including buffalo, honey barbecue, teriyaki, honey mustard and garlic parmesan, as well as other offerings, such as chicken tenders, sandwiches, fries, milkshakes and ice cream.

Big Lou's Single Wing Express is located in the Horizon West area at 16016 New Independence Parkway, Winter Garden.
