One day after Hurricane Helene, Windermere High School celebrated the opening of its on-campus stadium Friday, Sept. 27. The Wolverines also celebrated their 2024 Homecoming at halftime.
Orange County Public Schools officials, flanked by Windermere football players, band members and cheerleaders, officially cut the ribbon for the stadium during pre-game. At halftime, Windermere crowned Riley Allen and Bryce Speed were crowning Windermere High’s 2024 Homecoming queen and king.
In front of a packed house, the Wolverines celebrated a huge 42-7 win over visiting Lake Buena Vista to remain undefeated (6-0).
