A student helped ensure Principal Korey Bawden wouldn't be able to come off the wall by adding another strip of tape.
Staff members Angel Bodiford, Jennifer Giufre, Jaclyn Keller, Ann Dobson, and Hallie Flynn joined in on the fun of taping Principal Korey Bawden to the wall.
Principal Korey Bawden finally was able to put his feet on the ground once again after being taped to a wall.

After at least 88 pieces of tape, Principal Korey Bawden successfully stuck to the wall.
Principal Korey Bawden says, "It has been great to see the students have an increased passion for reading through fun and creative incentives."
A student was strategic in tape placement to ensure Principal Korey Bawden would stay on the wall.
Students who achieved their accelerated reading goals were able to take one piece of tape and use it to tape Principal Korey Bawden to the wall.
There were 88 students who reached their accelerated reading goals and were able to tape Principal Korey Bawden to the wall.
Korey Bawden, the Thornebrooke Elementary School principal, smiled and gave a thumbs up as he stood attached to a wall by duct tape.
Eighty-eight students who reached their accelerated reading goals earned the reward of helping to tape Bawden to a wall in December.
The Thornebrooke Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization sponsors the accelerated reader program and works with Media Specialist Ann Dobson to create monthly reading incentives throughout the year.
“It has been great to see the students have an increased passion for reading through fun and creative incentives,” Bawden said.
