Independence community to celebrate Fourth of July this weekend

The community will host its annual Independence Firework Spectacular from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, June 28.

The Independence community in Horizon West will celebrate July 4 with its annual Independence Firework Spectacular on Saturday, June 28. 

Open only to Independence residents and their guests, the event is from 6 to 9:30 p.m. It will feature an INDY KidZone, food trucks, entertainment and fireworks. There also will be a Splash Bash Premium Pool Party. 

Road closures begin at 11 a.m. and will reopen at approximately 10:30 p.m.
