TFA baseball crowned state champions

The First Academy Royals defeated Trinity Christian, 7-2, to win the 2025 FHSAA Class 2A title.

The First Academy has added some new hardware to its trophy case.

The Royals' baseball team defeated Trinity Christian, 7-2, to win the 2025 FHSAA Class 2A title Wednesday, May 21.

This is TFA's second baseball state title in school history.

Led by Senior Pitcher Thomas Achey on the mound and timely hitting from Austin Pierzynski and Erick Martinez at the plate, the Royals finished 30-4 and as a top-10 team in the nation.
