The Windermere Legacy Fund will host its first community initiative tomorrow night.

In conjunction with the town’s Food Truck Night, the fund will be hosting a food drive to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank.

The event will take place from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, April 24, at 520 Main St., Windermere.

In addition to supporting a great cause, attendees can enjoy delicious eats from a variety of food trucks, live music by Lucky to Be, and special participation from the Windermere Library.

HOW TO HELP
1. Bring donations to Food Truck Night. Stop by the Second Harvest Food tent near Town Hall to say hello and drop off non-perishable food items.

2. Drop off donations at Town Administration Building: If you’re unable to attend the event, donation bins will be available in the lobby of the Town Administrative Building.

3. Donate online. Support the cause with a monetary contribution here. To amplify your generosity, the Windermere Legacy Fund will match all monetary donations, dollar for dollar up to $2,500. Every $10 donated helps provide up to 40 meals for those in need.
