Project Right to Sight to sort glasses this weekend

High-schoolers needing community-service hours can volunteer at this event.

Project Right to Sight, part of Lions International, will host an Eyeglass Sorting and Reader Processing Event this weekend.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 13, at the Ocoee Lions Club, 108 Taylor St., Ocoee.

Join fellow Lions, high school students seeking community-service hours and other volunteers to sort thousands of donated eyeglasses, along with washing, bagging and labeling readers. No experience necessary. Refreshments provided.
