Faculty and staff lined up to say their goodbyes to the graduating class of 2026 at The First Academy’s graduation ceremony Friday, May 15.
As students walked in, the crowd cheered.
Speeches were given by Head of School Steve Whitaker, Principal Joyce Kwak, Valedictorian Eli Harrison and Salutatorian Amie Newell to name a few.
Seniors also sang worship songs and participated in the Candlelight Ceremony, passing the fire from their candles to juniors’ candles.
This ceremony commissions the juniors as the new campus leaders.
Diplomas then were handed out and seniors officially became alumni.
