St. Luke's UMC hosted their second annual Take pArt, a festival of the arts, with workshops, an art gallery and art projects.
The second-annual Take pArt, A Festival of Arts was hosted Saturday, June 29 at St. Luke's United Methodist Church. The festival let guests dive into their creative sides with a room full of make-and-take projects like decorating cigar boxes, making musical instruments and making coffee filter butterflies. Participants could take classes on bookmark-making, painting with spices, and there was even a class for kids to paint a picture of a puppy. A number of local artists, young and old, were featured in a gallery displayed right when guests walked inside.
