WEST ORANGE  Just a year out now from the opening of the new West Orange High relief high school, parents and community members will have the chance to meet the new principal.

The relief school’s parent-teacher-student organization is hosting a meet-and-greet with the new principal, Doug Guthrie, on Wednesday, Aug. 3 at 6 p.m. The PTSO is inviting all interested community members — including present and future high-school students — to come out to the West Orange High Ninth Grade Center’s cafeteria and introduce themselves.

“Mr. Guthrie will be introducing himself and will answer questions you have regarding the new high school and any updates,” said Marci Sgattoni, West Orange High PTSO’s treasurer. “He will also be available after the public portion of the meeting has ended for those of you that would like to make a personal introduction.”

The Ninth Grade Center is located at 12301 Warrior Road in Winter Garden, on the other side of the football stadium.
