Edgewater High to pay tribute to Pulse shooting victim

Tonight, Edgewater High School will pay tribute to Cory Connell, an Edgewater High graduate who was killed in the Pulse shooting. 

The football team plays Winter Park High School at home tonight, and Cory’s family will be honored at halftime. 

At all home football games this year, Edgewater football players will wear patch on their left sleeve that reads “CC” in honor of Cory. Volunteers at the school spent several hours sewing these patches on to the uniforms.
