The city of Ocoee’s Community Grant applications will be available beginning July 1. Residents can download an application at ocoee.org or pick up an application at Ocoee City Hall, 150 N. Lakeshore Drive. The deadline to submit applications is July 29.

The Community Grant program provides financial grants of up to $500. There is $6,000 available for this grant cycle.

Nonprofit organizations and civic groups are eligible to apply for a grant. In addition, those outside the city limits that benefit residents of Ocoee, are also qualified to apply for a community grant.

The city awards the grants to acknowledge excellence and to further the contributions these local organizations bring to the Ocoee community. Completed applications should be mailed or delivered to City Hall, Community Relations, 150 N. Lakeshore Drive.

The applications are reviewed and ranked by the Community Grant Review Board, a group of residents appointed by the Ocoee City Commission. The board makes a recommendation to the city commission on which organizations to fund. The city commission then makes the final decision.
