ART EXHIBIT OPENING

7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, at Oakland Manor House, 620 N. Tubb St. The exhibit opening is hosted by curator Gaby West of Artscapes. The event is open to the public, with live music, snacks and drinks.

5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, at The Barrel Room at Crooked Can, 426 W. Plant St., Winter Garden. Take the pooch to this dog-friendly event and enjoy “Puppy Hour/Happy Hour.”

WINDERMERE HIGH MARCHING BAND COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE

8 a.m. to 1 p.m Saturday, Aug. 3, in the cafeteria of Windermere High School, 5523 Winter Garden Vineland Road, Windermere. Support the Windermere High marching band, find some bargains and enjoy some food trucks. The band has been invited to the Bands of America Grand Nationals, in Indianapolis, in November and is raising funds for the trip.
