Games, activities, crafts and demonstrations are in store for children attending the fifth annual Florida Kids and Family Expo at the Orange County Convention Center, 9800 International Drive, Hall C, Orlando. For the parents, more than 150 vendors will offer resources, services and products.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, the convention center will be teeming with families taking advantage of the fun and the informative. The event is presented by Orlando Health and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and was created in 2014 by two Central Florida mothers who wanted to bring vendors together to help other families in the area.

Children can enjoy a petting zoo, carnival rides, bounce houses, make-and-take stations, laser tag, live performances all day, sports zones, pony and train rides, character meet-and-greets, prize giveaways and more.

Tickets are $6 in advance for ages 3 and older and $10 at the door. Additional wristbands can be purchased for $10 for unlimited attractions and bounce houses. For information and tickets, visit mycentralfloridafamily.com/Orlando-expo/.
