7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday through June 2 at the Garden Theatre, 160 W. Plant St., Winter Garden.

“Billy Elliot” is an inspirational story set in northern England during the 1984 miners’ strike. Eleven-year-old Billy discovers a passion for dance instead of the boxing ring, and it changes his life. With music by Elton John; book and lyrics by Lee Hall.

The show contains mature themes and strong adult language, so parents are asked to use their judgment based on their child’s age and maturity level.

Tickets are $30 to $35 and are available at gardentheatre.com.
