Winter Garden to offer special Valentine's Day features

Whether you already have your Valentine's Day plans nailed down or are in search of something fun to do, the city of Winter Garden is rolling out some fun ways to celebrate.

Local artist Rudy Drapiza will begin creating a custom, themed Valentine's Day mural at the corner of South Boyd and West Plant streets. Upon completion, visitors to downtown Winter Garden will be able to take Instagram-worthy photos with the mural. 

Nashville-based husband-and-wife duo Forget Me Not also will perform a serenade under the stars featuring love songs. The performance takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Centennial Plaza gazebo in downtown Winter Garden.

Other ways to celebrate Valentine's Day in Winter Garden include:

• Take a horse-drawn "Cinderella" carriage tour. Reservations can be made by clicking here.
• See City Hall turn red. In honor of Valentine's Day, City Hall will be lit up red and the splash pad will be lit up purple.
• Create a piece of art. SoBo Art Gallery on South Boyd Street is offering a couples' art workshop. Reservations can be made by clicking here.
