UPDATE: Missing Horizon West man found safe

Daniel Waterhouse, 81, had been missing since Thursday, June 30.

The missing Horizon West man has been found safe.

"Daniel Waterhouse has been found and is safe," Orange County Sheriff's Office officials said on Twitter. "Thank you to everyone for sharing this bulletin!"

Orange County Sheriff's Office deputies are asking for public assistance in locating a missing Horizon West man.

According to Sheriff's Office reports, Daniel Waterhouse, 81, was last seen in the area near Penshurst Lane and Winter Garden Vineland Road in Horizon West. Waterhouse is a resident of Windermere Assisted Living located in the Lakes of Windermere community.

Waterhouse is 5-foot-11, weighs 160 pounds and has gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and shorts.

According to Sheriff's Office reports, there is concern for Waterhouse's well-being because he may have become lost or disoriented, and he does not have his prescription medication.
