OCPS school board announces Winter 2023 sports team champions

The OCPS school board announced the athletic success of several Orange and Southwest Orange high schools winter teams during its Tuesday, April 25, meeting.

The Winter 2023 sports team champions are:

Dr. Phillips High School girls basketball team: FHSAA Class 7A state team champion.
Olympia High School boys wrestling team: FHSAA Class 3A state academic champion with a 3.453 GPA.
Windermere High School competition cheer team: FHSAA Class 2A state small varsity team champion.
