Ocoee high school students in ninth- through 12th grades are invited to enter the 2023 City of Ocoee “Every Drop Counts” Water Conservation Art Contest.

Entries can be mailed to or dropped off at the utility counter at Ocoee City Hall, 1 N. Bluford Ave. The deadline for submittal is 4 p.m. Friday, March 24.

First-, second- and third-place winners in each grade will receive a prize and be recognized at a City Commission meeting in April.

Students are invited to illustrate that “Every Drop Counts” and the importance of conserving water by creating an original piece of artwork that is inspired by a water conservation idea or slogan. Art pieces will be judged on creativity, relevance to theme, legibility and adherence to guidelines. No trademarked art will be accepted, and maximum size is 11 by 17 inches.

On the back of each art piece, students must write their name and grade, school name, and teacher’s name and email address.

All entries must contain a completed application, available at bit.ly/3xfDut2, with the art piece, with Part I to be completed by teacher and Part II to be completed by student’s parent or uardian. Entries will not be returned; they will be showcased online and in person to city of Ocoee residents.
