Windermere Preparatory School hosted its 2023 graduation ceremony Friday, May 26, at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

This year’s class showcased more than 160 graduating students.

The ceremony started with a speech from Head of School Dr. Mitchell Salerno and was followed by words from Valedictorian Jay Khemchandani and Salutatorian Manya Arora, as well as other student leaders.

She graduated from UCF in May 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in sociology. Her past journalism experiences include serving as a web producer at the Orlando Sentinel, a reporter at The Community Paper, managing editor for NSM Today, digital manager at Centric Magazine and as an intern for the Orlando Weekly.
