Windermere Preparatory School to present 'Legally Blonde: The Musical'

You have four chances to catch Windermere Preparatory School's production of "Legally Blonde: The Musical" this week.

Performances take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 18, Friday, April 19, and Saturday, April 20; and at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at the Cypress Center for the Arts, 6189 Winter Garden-Vineland Road, Windermere.

Based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture, "Legally Blonde: The Musical" is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International.

Elle Woods appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside down when her boyfriend, Warner, dumps her so he can attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle ingeniously charms her way into the prestigious law school. While there, she struggles with peers, professors and her ex. With the support of some new friends, though, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world.
