Roper YMCA to celebrate Healthy Kids Day

The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at the Roper YMCA Family Center, 100 Windermere Road, Winter Garden.

The Roper YMCA Family Center will host a day of fun for the 2025 Healthy Kids Day.

The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at the Roper YMCA Family Center, 100 Windermere Road, Winter Garden.

Activities will include youth sports demos, aquatics activities, group exercise class demos, obstacle courses and more.

Plus, the YMCA will offer its New World Reads Initiative that is taking place after Healthy Kids Day from 1 to 2 p.m. The first 100 participants will be provided with a free boxed lunch.

SCHEDULE
10:30 a.m.: Kids Fit
11 a.m.: Westly Dance Challenge
11:30 a.m.: Family Zumba in Studio 1
12:30 p.m.: Hula-hoop contest
1 p.m.: New World Reads
