Southwest Middle School will present its 2025 Festival of the Arts this week.

This annual event takes place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 25, at the school, 6450 Dr. Phillips Blvd., Orlando.

For more than 10 years, Southwest drama teacher and director Sally Marjama has partnered with the music and arts teachers at Southwest and the teachers from feeder high schools and elementary schools to create an engaging, fun, family event that celebrates the students and fine arts at Southwest Middle.

The live entertainment throughout the night will include the Southwest jazz band, wind ensemble, string symphony, choir and theater program.

In addition, art students will have their work on display and provide activities such as henna, face-painting and chalk art. The high school and elementary school performances include their band and chorus students. The evening also will feature an instrument petting zoo, local food trucks and a silent auction fundraiser.
