Village Point Church plans first Summer Blitz

The weekend-long event will feature a Night of Worship, Village Party and Father’s Day BBQ.

Village Point Church is celebrating the start of summer with a weekend full of fun.

The church will host its first Summer Blitz June 13-15 at Hamlin Middle School, 16025 Silver Grove Blvd., Winter Garden.

The fun begins with a Night of Worship at 6 p.m. Friday, June 13. Join Village Point to sing, pray and celebrate all God has done, is doing and is going to do in Horizon West. Child care and kids activities will be provided.

The next day, the church will host its Village Party from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This free Block Party includes bounce houses, the Florida Foam Factory, Jeremiah’s Ice and more.

Then following Village Point’s worship gathering, the church will celebrate dads its Father’s Day BBQ at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 15. The menu includes hamburgers, picanha, chorizo and more.
