Road closures to take place in Oakland

Roadwork soon will begin in the town of Oakland. 

As part of the town's efforts to improve the intersection of Winter's Landing Drive and Macchi Avenue, road closures will take effect until early 2027. 

Beginning Monday, July 20, Winter's Landing Drive will be closed north of East Gulley Avenue, Macchi Avenue will be closed west of Winter's Landing, and Canyon Creek Trail will be closed south of Riverway Drive. 

The town asks residents to use Riverway Drive and East Gulley Avenue as alternative routes. Detour signs will be placed for easy navigation. 

There will be no impacts to the West Orange Trail.
