The Dr. Phillips High School orchestra played "Pomp and Circumstance" as the graduates made their way into the arena.

Dr. Phillips High alumna and Orange County School Board member Vickie-Elaine Felder had words of encouragement for Dr. Phillips High's Class of 2026 during commencement Tuesday, May 26.
She encouraged them to carefully choose who would best in their life to support them on their journey.
"Everybody has to eat, but that doesn't mean you have to feed them," she said.
After hearing speeches from Principal Jackie Ramsey, Felder, School Board Chair Teresa Jacobs, valedictorian Samuel Guilfoy and salutatorian Kyan Khong as well as the school's Pantera Vocal Ensemble singing the national anthem and "Landslide," the graduates were ready to cross the stage, accept their diplomas and turn their tassels.
