Foundation Lions get win on end-of-game field goal

Kicker Braedyn White got three points to put the Lions up 36-35 in the last seconds of the game.

Foundation Academy fans were treated to some late-game heroics on Senior Night as the Lions took care of the West Oaks Academy Flame Friday, Oct. 28, at Foundation.

With nine seconds to go and Foundation down 36-35, Lions kicker Braedyn White drilled a field goal to give the home team the 38-36 win.

At halftime, Foundation also presented a jersey to Cindy and John Fitzgibbon, parents of U.S. Army 1st Lt. Evan Patrick Fitzgibbon, a Foundation football alum who died Aug. 9, in a Ranger School accident.
