Hamlin ready to Shamrock & Roll into St. Patrick’s Day

If you’re looking for some St. Patrick’s Day fun in Horizon West, you will find it in Hamlin.

The Horizon West community will host a day full of fun at Shamrock & Roll Sunday, March 16.

The festivities kick off with the Lucky Charm 5K, scheduled for 8 to 10 a.m. starting at Home State Brewing Co., 16016 New Independence Parkway. This event is presented by Florida Running Co. and Dream Finders HomesAll 5K participants will receive a chip timed race, race shirt, finishers medal and St Patrick’s Day cup. All runners 21 and older also will receive one free beer from Home State Brewing. Kids race participants will receive a race medal and bib. To register, click here.

If running isn’t your thing, grab your green gear and enjoy an afternoon of shopping at Horizon West Happenings’ Homegrown in Horizon West, which will take place from 8 a.m. to noon. This market will feature local vendors, live music and a plethora of green-filled fun.

Home State will host DJ KD Queen from 1 to 4 p.m.

The festivities will culminate with the St. Patrick’s Fay Block Party from 4 to 8 p.m. Enjoy live performances, kid-friendly activities, food and festive drinks. Admission is free.
