Ocoee cancels annual Music Fest

The city of Ocoee announced the local favorite Ocoee Music Fest will not take place in 2026. 

For more than 30 years, the event has brought local residents together to listen to various artists and dance the night way. 

But Friday, July 17, the city made the announcement it will not host the event this year, due to ongoing economic uncertainty. 

“We believe it’s important to take a conservative and fiscally responsible approach with taxpayer dollars,” city officials posted online. “While this event has become a favorite community tradition for over 30 years, our priority is ensuring that city resources are managed wisely during these uncertain times.” 

The announced shared empathy for disappointed residents, and said live entertainment opportunities still will be available to residents.

“Although Ocoee Music Fest will not be held in 2026, we’re planning a variety of smaller live music events throughout the year, giving residents plenty of opportunities to enjoy great entertainment and experience live music right here in Ocoee,” the announcement read. “Thank you for your continued support as we work to serve our community responsibly.”
